Global leader in enterprise tag management capitalises on strong 2013 performance with key EMEA appointments

LONDON, UK (March 5, 2014) – Tealium®, the no. 1 provider of enterprise tag management and innovator of solutions to help marketers unify the customer journey and drive more profitable digital interactions, today announced several key EMEA appointments to help support ongoing record growth throughout the region.

Fueled by strong demand for its market-leading tag management solution, as well as the launch of AudienceStream, a new segmentation and data distribution service, Tealium achieved a record year in 2013 across the globe. In the EMEA region, Tealium increased revenue by 80 percent compared to the previous year, while doubling its enterprise customer base. New EMEA clients include Brussels Airlines, Avis Budget Group Europe, TrendMicro, Lufthansa and Snow & Rock.

To help support this rapid growth, reach new markets and expand partner relationships, Tealium announced the appointments of several industry veterans, including:

  • Jérôme Cail joins as Business Development Director for France, Belgium and Luxembourg. Based in Paris, Cail brings nearly 20 years of experience within digital marketing, most recently with comScore.
  • Lance Standing, previously of Emailvision and Perfect Information, joins as Channel Manager for EMEA. Standing will work to accelerate the growth of Tealium’s SYNC Partner Program across the region.
  • Javier Lopez, based in Madrid, joins from Spanish digital intelligence agency Divisadero. He assumes the role of Business Development Manager for Spain, Portugal and Italy.

“Tealium is experiencing rapid growth across all markets, especially in Europe, as tag management becomes increasingly strategic to digital marketers,” said Jeff Lunsford, Tealium CEO. “The strength of our solutions, client relationships and strategic partnerships make this an exciting time for Javier, Lance and Jérôme to join the team.”

Since first establishing an EMEA presence in 2011, Tealium has been one of the most recognised tag management providers in the industry. The company was identified as the market leader for enterprise tag management in Econsultancy’s 2012 report, “Tag Management Buyer’s Guide.” In November 2013, Red Herring named the company one of its Global 100 Award winners. Last month, Forbes Magazine recognised Tealium as one of the Most Promising Companies in America for 2014.
