Tealium Enables Global Fashion Leader to Deploy and Manage Its Mission-Critical Online Marketing Solutions Faster Than Ever Before

Denver, CO (Sep 11, 2012) – Tealium, the leader in enterprise tag management, today announced the addition of fashion house Perry Ellis International to its growing roster of brand name e-commerce clients. Perry Ellis is the leading designer, distributor and licensor of a wide range of apparel and owns a portfolio of internationally recognized brands.

The announcement was made at the Shop.org Annual Summit, which is currently taking place at the Colorado Convention Center. Tealium will be at Booth #347 providing live demonstrations of its market-leading tag management solution.

After an extensive market review, Perry Ellis selected Tealium for its proven ability to help digital marketers more easily manage their mission-critical online solutions and increase marketing velocity. With Perry Ellis’ large portfolio of e-commerce sites that are constantly growing in complexity, the company found that Tealium’s tag management system (TMS) greatly simplified the process of deploying and managing the web page tags (JavaScript snippets) that many digital marketing vendors require. Tealium offers 300+ turnkey vendor integrations and does not require users to have any JavaScript expertise, eliminating the need for ongoing IT assistance to manage the tags.

“Tealium is an important part of our daily operations,” said Raymond Conesa, Director of E-Commerce Operations, Perry Ellis International. “With an increasing amount of effort dedicated to maintaining multiple e-commerce websites, it became clear we needed a solution that would provide us with an intuitive management console and a large number of turnkey vendor integrations to help speed up our implementations and accelerate the overall performance of our web sites.”

In addition to improving marketing agility and efficiency, Tealium also enables Perry Ellis to increase web page load speed by replacing multiple tags on each page with a single line of code. This improves the customer experience and increases conversions. According to analytics provider KISSmetrics, a one-second delay in page response can result in a 7 percent reduction in conversions.

“Perry Ellis is one of the biggest names in fashion and an innovator in online commerce,” said Ali Behnam, CEO of Tealium. “We look forward to helping Perry Ellis increase digital marketing efficiency and results as they expand their online network.”

With the addition of Perry Ellis, Tealium continues its strong momentum in the e-commerce space. Tealium has recently added eight of the Top 100 companies on the Internet Retailer 500 list.

Other recent Tealium highlights include:

  • Receiving $10.5M in Series B financing from Battery Ventures, one of the most prominent venture capital firms in the world. Battery selected Tealium after conducting an extensive review of the market.
  • Being positioned as the market leader for tag management in Econsultancy‘s “Tag Management Buyer’s Guide,” published this summer. Tealium was noted to have the biggest global focus, while being ranked larger than any competitor except Adobe Systems
  • Being named a finalist for Best New Technology in the Digital Analytics Association’s Awards for Excellence 2012
