When it comes to making important buying decisions, people often rely on the recommendations of their trusted network. With the rise of social media, access to this type of information has become incredibly amplified. Not only can we see what our friends and family are buying through different social outlets and review platforms, but we can also lean on the experience of liked-minded strangers – the so-called “wisdom of the crowds.”
This collective intelligence can be highly useful in making the right purchase, which is why Tealium is proud to add a new feature to its innovative tag marketplace: interactive rankings that enable users to leverage the experiences of the Tealium community when choosing a new digital marketing solution.
Under the new ranking system, Tealium users are encouraged to rate the effectiveness of each turnkey vendor within our marketplace – now totaling more than 500 solutions across multiple categories – based on a scale of 1 to 5 stars, with 5 being the best. Once completed, these rankings are aggregated and displayed for the entire user community. Although just launched, user rankings are already piling up, especially in the analytics category, where Google Analytics and Adobe SiteCatalyst are among two of the highest ranked solutions with aggregated scores of 4.8 stars and 4.4 stars respectively.
The new interactive rankings are just the latest step in Tealium’s evolution into a place where digital marketers go to be successful. Through Tealium, digital marketers can now: shop and select vendor solutions based peer rankings, easily enable vendor tags and get a clean actionable source of all of their digital data.
Tealium goes a step further in providing a robust user community where digital marketers can interact with one another in multiple ways, whether it’s through features such as the interactive vendor rankings, or the company’s new Tealium Learning Community (TLC), a socially driven knowledge sharing platform that allows users to get the latest product information and share valuable tips and tricks. Tealium also delivers many community events that allow customers to interact first-hand, including Digital Velocity, Tealium’s annual user conference held in San Diego and Europe, and Tag Management University (TMU), the industry’s first formalized tag management training program.
So far, the response to these community-focused initiatives has been overwhelmingly positive. We continue to explore new and innovative ways to help customers connect and share knowledge, and make their lives that much easier and more productive.
