This week at AWS re:Invent, Tealium was named as one of the 27 AWS Consulting and Technology partners to achieve the brand new Travel and Hospitality Competency. It’s an incredibly special honor to be recognized and included in this group. Because so many companies are built on and rely on AWS, the company’s Competency Program is a trusted indicator of expertise and best-in-class technology solutions. 

Driving exceptional customer experiences is at the heart of the Travel and Hospitality industry and this new competency comes at a critical time when every industry has been required to accelerate digital transformation to continue to drive customer engagement and growth. This makes building a real-time customer data foundation more than a nice-to-have feature, but a must-have requirement for everything from urgent outreach to easier check-in.

During the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic, Tealium helped enable one of our travel customers to quickly create and proactively engage audiences of travelers headed to COVID-19 hot spots, in under one day! Those audiences were able to be used across technologies and engagement channels in their stack. This audience creation agility was the basis for proactive customer experience action.
