The ability to provide relevant and personalized experiences to customers, in the moment, is considered the ‘Holy Grail’ for marketers. Ironically, the very marketing technology that some organizations have invested in to manage data and engage with customers is often what is inhibiting real success. While this multitude of tools may help satisfy evolving customer expectations, they have also created significant business challenges. These technologies aren’t connected and don’t share data, resulting in inefficiencies, data silos and poor customer experiences.
The path to customer centricity is within reach and through the Customer Data Hub, Tealium provides a bridge to achieve the ‘Holy Grail’ for marketers.
As part of the MarTech Challenge Series, our team of strategists was challenged to help a B2B company use Tealium to adjust their marketing campaigns and channels when a lead’s status changes or converts in SalesForce. By enabling SalesForce to automatically update Tealium AudienceStream, users can provide customers relevant, real-time experiences and solve for use cases such as:
- Informed Live Chat
- Content Optimization
- Personalized Sales Calls
- Better Media Targeting
In this video, Tealium VP of Global Solutions Consulting, Chris Slovak, answers the challenge showing users how to use Tealium to create and update lead records in SalesForce and in turn, fuel Tealium with updates made directly in SalesForce. Once Tealium and SalesForce are in sync, our expansive ecosystem of over 1,000 integrations opens up tremendous possibilities for providing pertinent, real-time marketing to leads. Chris also shares examples of how to use this centralized and comprehensive data set to fuel marketing campaigns in tools like Google Adwords, Facebook, email provider SendGrid and Google Analytics.
Tealium wants to make the MarTech industry a little less daunting, one challenge at a time. Our team and technology are committed to empowering brands to solve the large data problems they face every day. Whether that’s helping to integrate numerous marketing vendors or stitching together visitor data across devices, we continuously work to enable users to create comprehensive customer profiles and a seamless brand experience through the Customer Data Hub.
